Come inside or you'll catch your death.
Too late for Mr mouse.
The sky cries. Now his fur is all wet.
May he rest in peace and feel the love of the earth waiting until the sun does come out and we burry him.
I promise. I will.~
Well Macbeth has begun bumping in, sickness has come into to and I've come inside as it rains and I take a needed day off because of it (the sickness). I'll e okay already pjs, chocolate and sleep feel like they are beginning to ease my pains. Snuggling in bed is bliss. Hopefully I'll be as right as the rain tomorrow, bright and ready for props bump in.
Now lets rewind a little...
Last weekend my little sister came over (and I believe her cold never left) and we went exploring. Which was great, because it'd been a good long time since I've done any proper exploring. I brought my camera and we went to this empty block by the oval (which I've been meaning to check out for ages) and went from tree to tree (so many different kinds of trees!) looking at their leaves, the birds and figuring out if they were good to climb. I didn't do much climbing, but we both had a lot of fun in the "spider" tree in particular. We then went to a park and got dizzy until I had to lay down.
A couple of days later I discovered a dead mouse by my lock of units. It's not bloody, or evidence of attack, just laying still and dead. May it rest in peace. I pplan of finding it a better resting spot soon, it can't stay on the concrete near the stairs, it needs the earth.
Oh! And I had a house inspection and today the real estate got an electrician to contact me. They're going to look at the living room lights tomorrow. I may be in full light again soon! ^___^ *fingers crossed*
In other news...
I got my first real rejection and feature!
My deviation
But still an Artist was rejected by the group young-photo-club who are supposed to be a group where "People from all skill levels can join, it doesn't matter where you're from, or what kind of photography you do, we're a close knit community that will help you find inspiration and help your skills flourish! This is the perfect group for you to deepen your understanding of photography, as well as develop your skills and learn from others." When I asked by it was reject I was told "This photo has really poor quality which is why we weren't able to accept it." Believing this to be one of my better photos I found this disheartening wishing they had been more specific. Mostly the word 'really' got to me a little. I'm mean sure it has a little noise but that's part of it, so it the fact that I took it with one had hand, blind, in poorly lit room wearing no make up and having no post production on it what so ever. It's about trying, boundries and inperfections but being an artist is something that can never be ripped away. Keeping this in mind, I'm past the rejection - I just wasn't in a good mood that day and got a little worried that people were not seeing the meaning in the image.
Then the other day it got a renewed life as

feaured it as part of a beautiful collection (very worth checking out ->
Click Here <- ^__^). I feel greatly honoured and really appreciate it.
On that note I'd like to thank greatly everyone that takes the time to really look at my photos, comment, favourite and support me as I experiment and try to improve my photography skills! You guys rock! (and roll~) ^^)
